We have started by introducing assistive technology in the participant’s homes to support them in daily life for a period of three year.

When we talk about assistive technology we use the concept in a broader sense.

To some extent it can be ordinary products that are useful for the target group when coping with ordinary function in daily life.

With the help of different products /assistive devices they are also given the opportunity to take charge of their own lives and become confident, independent and active in their everyday lives.

Expected Results for users

  • Increased independence, increased self – assurance, improved social contacts.
  • Reduced dependency on personnel, friends and relatives as caregivers.
  • Increased quality of life
  • Reduced costs for assistance and institutional
