SIAT tests assistive technology in a number of projects driven by SIAT. The tests are carried out in close cooperation with users of the devices.
Examples of ongoing tests in SIAT-projects during 2011:
- social alarms in a digital infrastructure,
- mainstream videophones and video phone software,
- applications in Smart phones used by persons with cognitive disabilities.

In collaboration with other Nordic countries SIAT has produced a set of basic requirements for hearing aids and communications devices. You will find the documents under the links “Requirement Specification…”.
