In collaberation with other Nordic countries, the Swedish Institute of Assistive Technology (SIAT) has set the basic requirements of these documents. They are used by local authorities and regions in Sweden and by other Nordic countries.

HEARING AIDS - Requirements and guidelines, 7th edition (2007-03-01), (pdf-file)
This version of the requirements does not require a telecoil in the hearing aid. The Swedish Institute of Assistive Technology recommends that a former edition of requirements are used when procurement of hearing aids is made, or that the requirement of telecoil is added to the requirements.
