Two proposals submitted by SIAT to the European Innovation Partnership on Active and Healthy Ageing have been accepted.
Acceptance of the proposals allows SIAT to participate in the European-wide Partnership that is established to increase collaboration among stakeholders who have similar interests, activities and projects.
There are six specific action groups set up in the Partnership that are geared towards achieving common goals and promoting successful technological, social, process and organizational innovation.
SIAT will be participating in the specific action group concerning innovation for age friendly buildings, cities and environments with the aim to increase interested in housing environments that facilitate active and healthy ageing. SIAT will also be participating in the specific action group concerning development of interoperable independent living solutions and work towards gaining interest in open IP based protocols for social care alarms.
